Brute Squad at the 2010 World Ultimate Club Championships
Brute Squad is an elite women’s team from the greater Boston area, although our roster includes talent from all over New England. Brute has made the semis of the USA Ultimate Club Championships three times, in 2006, 2007, and 2009, and made our first appearance in the finals last year in 2009. As a team we pride ourselves on our hard work ethic, whether it’s full weekend practices, tough workouts or competitive, spirited play…but we also spend a lot of time just plain having fun. We have made giving back to the college and high school women’s ultimate scenes a cornerstone of our team philosophy: Each year we run clinics for college or high school teams, and more than half of our team coaches at the high school or college level. Needless to say, we’re extremely excited to be part of Philly Fusion! The 2010 season has already been great as we have finally incorporated some of our longstanding cross-town rivals from former national champions Lady Godiva onto the team.
