Scandal is an elite women’s ultimate club team in its fourth season, that draws from the Washington, DC metropolitan area. In 2010, under the leadership of new coach Nate Miller, we are working hard to achieve the best of competitive ultimate. We place particular emphasis on individual improvement, team fitness, and team camaraderie, and we seek to peak as a team during the UPA Club Series. This year we are pumped about a lot of our newcomers: look for some big plays from Octavia “Opi” Payne and Allison Maddux, as well as returner Sandy Jorgensen. For Scandal, representing women’s ultimate in DC on a national level informs the way we train and interpret ourselves as athletes, and it solidifies the integrity and fair play we bring to the field.
